The Castleton men s and women s cross country teams will host their annual fundraiser event, the Turkey Trot, on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Freshman Elizabeth Bassette led the Spartans to a third place victory at the Green Mountain Invitational on Saturday and was honored today as the North Atlantic Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season.

The Spartans continue their season this Saturday when they travel to Poultney, Vt. to compete in the Green Mountain College Invitational starting at 10 am.

Castleton s women s cross country team raced in the Green Mountain College Invitational on Saturday, taking home third place out of four teams.

The Spartans raced in the Vermont State Meet on Saturday, notching a fourth place finish out of six teams.

Castleton s women s cross country team resumes its season on Saturday when it travels to Randolph, Vt. to compete in the Vermont State Meet beginning at 11 am.
