The Castleton Women s Cross Country team started its 2014 campaign with a seventh place finish at the Mayflower Kickoff Meet hosted by New England College.

This year the Castleton men's and women's cross country teams are getting involved with the homecoming weekend, sponsoring the Castleton Homecoming 5K Color Run on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 10 am.

Castleton was picked third in the North Atlantic Conference Preseason Poll, in a recent vote of the conference's coaches.

The Castleton women s cross country team brings back a number of returners as they look to improve from last season s fourth place finish at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships.

Following a fall season in which five teams reached at least the conference semifinals and two advanced to postseason play, 12 Castleton student-athletes were named to the North Atlantic Conference Fall All-Academic Team.
