Castleton s men s cross country team competed in the Vermont State Meet on Saturday, taking home a fifth place finish out of seven teams.

The Spartans raced in the 45th annual Codfish Bowl hosted in Boston, Mass. on Saturday, finishing in seventh place overall.

Freshman Grandon Smith was honored today as the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week for the four consecutive time after racing at the Codfish Bowl over the weekend.

Castleton s men s cross country team returns to action this weekend when they travel to Boston, Mass. to race in the Codfish Bowl beginning at 11:45 am.

After helping the Spartans notch a 21st place finish at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational, freshman Grandon Smith has been honored as the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week.
